I just found this video on YouTube and I have started writing checks to myself.

On Setbacks
I just did a meditation on setbacks, and gained some amazing insight.
We all experience setbacks in our life...often when we are at the best we have ever been in our life.
While we may fear we will drop lower than ever, if we look back in our lives often we will see how much farther we have come since.
The meditation was on Oprah.com .
As I was doing the meditation, I had the image of a slingshot. In order for a slingshot to propel something forward, it needs to be pulled back a bit. You can see this phenomenon all the time in nature, with waves on the ocean, in economics, with rises and pullbacks of stock or currencies, with traffic jams that have a slowdown and then release....
I also realized that setbacks are a time of pausing and therefore a good time to educate ourselves to prepare for the next wave upward.
If we look at setbacks in our life as simply a process of preparing for the next leap forward, we can make the most of what otherwise may feel like a challenging time.

Ho'oponopono
I have been studying EFT more intensely lately and notice that many EFT practitioners also use Ho'oponopono combined with EFT statements. Brad Yates has a YouTube video demonstrating this practice. I also found an article by Joe Vitale on Ho'oponopono here: http://educate-yourself.org/zsl/hooponopono25jul06.shtml
